C.F. Tao Scholarship Fund to Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Mr. C.F. Tao graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 1943. In memory of Senior C.F. Tao’s gratitude and love for the country, a scholarship fund was initiated by Mrs. Nancy Tao and her family to SJTU in 2017.

The scholarship shall be awarded annually to undergraduate students with financial needs and Ph.D. students with outstanding academic performance. It aims to provide support and encouragement to students in pursuing their studies and dreams.

Having this opportunity, we hope the students could apply the knowledge they have learned to contribute back to society and create a better world.
